Developed from the idea of modular robotics applied to adaptive architecture, this system presents a new typology of mobile and reconfigurable pieces. The community of pods link, configure and change on the needs of its community of occupants. 

An operable and pliant envelope is folded over the moving frame using origami and kirigami, which allows for openings. This unique lightweight enclosure permits each module of the Polyhouse system to join and split as needed.
